We all needed a day like today to rest and recover from our many adventures. It always feels so good to go to church and learn more about the gospel from the great people in the Peckham ward. In sunday school we had a lesson from an Irish sister and it she taught us about the Anti-Nephi-Lehis. It was a great lesson about repentance and cleansing ourselves from sin. I attend the YSA class and so many of the students in the class are the only members in their families. It was so inspiring to me to hear their testimonies about Christ and how much they love the gospel. We also talked about how it is vital that our testimony is in Christ, because even if we don't have others to support us in the gospel, Christ will always be there. Very good stuff. In Young Men I got to know the young men some more and we are planning a time that we can get together and play some football (soccer)!
Back at the center I was able to relax so I read from The Book Thief while sitting in the window while it was raining outside! GAH! It was very picturesque and it made me smile. Plus I was reading the best book I know. I also got some homework done as well and watched some of the movies on my computer. We were all quite lazy today, and that's fine. After a delicious dinner made by Thais we watched the Wimbledon game with a bunch of people in the center. It was really fun and though we wish we could have been there, we had a good time watching.
In the evening I decided to go out and about by myself to see what I could discover. I went through the tube and managed to find a TARDIS! (See Doctor Who). I walked around in the rain a bit, discovered that movie theaters in the UK are crazy expensive (it costs £20 to see a show, that's about $30 in American currency), walked through a mall that was a building that Hitler really liked, witnessed a guy start changing his clothes on the tube and then made my way over to Hyde park. I ran into some other people in my group and together we made our way over to the Peter Pan statue! I am surprised it has taken me this long to go and see it! I was very excited! Hooray for Peter! I now have the urge to watch Hook, which we fortunately have on DVD here in the center.
A bunch of people are gathering later tonight so we can further plan our trip to Ireland! I can't believe that it is coming so soon! Our first real solo trip through Europe! I feel like so many things are coming so fast. I swear that I just planned these things, but that was apparently months ago! I am so stoked!
Tomorrow we will have more classes and some of us will attempt once again to get tickets to Les Miserables! Let's hope we get them this time around!

What, no picture of the TARDIS?! You've mentioned your book so often that I feel the need to go read it now. But I don't have a library card yet. Sigh. Also...I don't know if there is any movie in the world I want to see bad enough to pay $30!!!
