In Class 6 we had students come in that had traveled to London in previous programs. They shared some of their favorite memories and gave us a handout with recommendations from other students. The paper had a page with things that people said that wished they had packed and things to leave at home. Some of the common things people wish they had taken were rain jackets, portable umbrellas, laptops, and American gum (something that I had not thought of). And everyone just recommended packing light! We really have no space to put anything in our rooms, plus we want to save as much room for all the souvenirs that we will be bringing home! It's also amazing to see how much this experience really means to people. I have talked to quite a few people about their Study Abroad experience and I have not met anyone that has not completely loved it. I am STOKED!
In our final class (Class 7) we received our International Studies backpacks which are very cool. We then took our final, which was crazy hard. I was surprised and disturbed by the fact that my 1 credit class had the final that kicked my butt the hardest. Oh the irony. Fortunately I still like the class as well as the professors. They are forgiven.
And that's it! The classes are done! I've been prepped on London and I am rearing to go! We just have one more assignment due that we post on Facebook about three sites that we want to go to. I will post what I have on there here....eventually.
9 WEEKS!!!
