So instead of doing my homework tonight, I decided to take a look at the National Theatre website. (The internet is my anti-drug). What I found amazed me. Seriously. Ask my mom. I was jumping all over the place with the news. They have so many interesting shows that will be going while I am in London. There are shows that I am excited for because I actually know them, shows that sound interesting though I have never heard of them and shows that I will go to just because they have actors that I really want to see.
Wait for it.......
Keep waiting......
ALMOST THERE.........!!!!!
CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON!
For those of you not familiar with the awesomeness of British Television (the amazing BBC), my good friend Christopher played the role of the Doctor on Doctor Who for the first series (called season by us weird Americans) of the revived show. I have always wanted to meet one of the Doctors, and though the later actors are my favorites, it would be amazing to go and see him perform! He will be performing in Antigone, which I actually have heard of! Other cool actors that will be performing while I am abroad are Julie Walters (Mrs. Weasley in Harry Potter), Helen McCrory (Mama Jean in Hugo, Narcissa Malfoy in Harry Potter), and Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow in Batman Begins and rich dude in Inception). I don't really consider myself one to go all cooky over celebrates, but these people are amazing! So yes, cookiness will ensue.
Needless to say I am pleased.
