Yes, the rumors are true. Today I had another amazing day, at least for the first half of the day! After breakfast this morning a few of us made our way over to Abbey Road! I have wanted to go this entire trip, but I wasn't sure if anyone else would want to go. This past week we got to talking about it and apparently we have some major Beatles fans here that have been wanting to go! We decided to make it happen. We knew that we wanted to take the perfect picture while we were there so we went early in the morning hoping that the traffic would not be that bad. It was still quite the ordeal. There were about nine of us there and it took about thirty minutes for us all to be satisfied with the photos that we took. It was quite the interesting experience. We had to wait at the side of the road for there to be openings without cars. When we saw a gap we had to run out into the intersection and the person taking the photo had to run out into the road up further to get the perfect shot. But then you had to hurry and take it before other cars came. Then there were other tourists also trying to get in, so you had to make sure that they weren't going to run in as well. Cars would stop to try and let you cross but we would wave them on, so we quickly learned not to stand too close to the road or people stopped and ruined it all anyways. It was an adventure, but we managed to snag an amazing photo!
Next to Abbey Road is Abbey Road Studios. We couldn't go inside, but the wall outside the studio is covered with graffiti from people that came from all over the road to see this beautiful sight! We broke out the pens and started writing our own messages on the wall. It was a quirky little thing to do but was really fun. We all left feeling very excited with our achievement and hopped on the tube so that we could go to the Beatles Official Store just one stop over. Some of the girls went crazy buying things. They seriously had anything you could ever want that has anything to do with Beatles. Socks, aprons, cards, coaster, etc. It was a bit overwhelming but so much fun!
The group broke off and got a bit smaller as we made our way back to have another Sherlock experience. I took people to the Sherlock museum so we could take pictures and explore a little bit more. I found the Sherlock Holmes museum this time around, and he is a huge guy! We also went to Speedy's (from the TV series of Sherlock) and got the Sherlock wrap! I had been to all of these sights already but it was fun to go back and actually spend a little more time there. The first time around we were so rushed and I didn't get to eat the delicious wrap. Nom nom nom. The owner was there again and was as happy and social as ever, always eager to show off pictures from when the show is filming outside his cafe.
Next stop was another repeat as we went to King's Cross station to revisit Platform 9 3/4. There was a big line this time around, so I snuck into the bookstore next to it and bought another Harry Potter book. I now own all of the British version of this book. Packing this weekend should be quite the adventure, though I should be fine. Before heading home we attempted to find the super-nerd store known as Forbidden Planet, selling anything a true nerd would ever want. We were searching for souveniers for friends and family and were told this was the place to go.... we just couldn't find it. We asked for directions from lots of different people, used google maps whenever we happened to find Wifi and ran up and down streets but could not find the Forbidden Planet. Forutnately we found some other random stores and I got to take a picture with a Bane mask. But eventually we had to give up and head back to the center to once again study for our finals.
I was about to sit down to study when one of the girls in the center got a notification on her Facebook. It said that today was the anniversary of when the Beatles took the photo for Abbey Road! OH MY GOSH! I started jumping up and down when I realized that we had accidently taken a photo at Abbey Road on the same day that the Beatles had done it in 1969! I got a serious case of the chills and then found myself running around the center like a freak. Fortunately I wasn't alone, when I told the other people in our group they joined me in the partying. It was meant to be! And with that little tidbit of awesome news I was officially ready to jump into my studies!
Waverly Place, as in Wizards Of....(TV show)
Our epic photo! Well worth the struggle.
Graffiti wall!

Karma once again finds Jace in the right place at the right time. Braeden says you're in just the right spot because you're just like Ringo--they guy that keeps the fun together.
