Whoosh

Whoosh. That feeling of the stress that has been building up slowly the past few days flying out of your body.  You didn't realize how much it had layered on your insides until the moment it is all gone and then you just want to lay on the ground and grin to yourself.  Today we had our finals.  Two hours of History followed by two hours of English.  I am not exactly sure what score I got, the only possible negative to not being in the testing center, but I feel ok with them.  And ok is enough for me to carry on and leave that whole mess behind.  After we finished finals people bailed out of the center so quickly.  I opted.....to sit around for a while and take a much needed rest, at least until dinner.
Dinner today was quite lovely.  We had chili served on top of baked potatoes!  That was already marvelous, but then we were given icecream for dessert! SO GOOD! Thais sure know how to throw a last summer.  Yes, it is true, this was our last supper here at the London Center.  About half of the group will be leaving tomorrow, so the leaders just gave the rest of us money to provide for ourselves.  It's so crazy to think that we are already so close to leaving!  People have been packing all day today and getting ready to leave.  I am quite grateful that I still have all day tomorrow to myself, because after having stressed for today and the last week I want a day that I can go back to the stress free adventure Jace.  (Though I must say that even stressed Jace is adventurey and manages to have fun).  We decided to take our group photo in front of the center to remember forever!
After the dinner we all went to see Julius Caesar.  The theatre performing it had a very interesting take on it as the whole thing was set as if it were in Africa!  (So yes, the entire cast was black). It was pretty interesting, though I must confess that I struggled to stay awake.  I blame the finals, not the play.  Well, the play was part of it, but mostly the test.  It was fun though and was one of our first adventures as a big group in a little while!
After the show people starting breaking off into groups to go and do different things.  Half went to the Eye and the other went clubbing.  I didn't want to spend money (Eye) or do something requiring energy (clubbing) so Megan and I decided to go to Picadily Circus to explore!  I don't know what it is about that place, but every time I go I feel so happy.  We didn't even do anything too big and amazing, but it's always fun.  Tonight we found our way to M&M World, which previously was not on my priority list of places to go, but we were there and we visited and it was surprisingly fun.  And huge.  I thought that the New York one was big, but this one beat it somehow.  Weird stuff.  We also explored some of the more "touristy" shops.  Everything was open later than usual because of the Olympics.  The funny thing is that everything except pubs close around 8:00 most days.  So that's been one of the bonuses of the Olympics, more nights on the town without having to go into a pub!
Soon it was late and we had to make our way back to the center.  People are still packing now and doing some last minute bonding time.  I can't believe that the end is practically here!  I am quite excited to go back home though as well.  It's very bitter sweet.  I am doing my best not to dwell on it because we still have another day to go out and have great adventures!  Don't quite know what we will be doing yet, but I am sure that it will be quite amazing.

Kim and I at Caesar.  Wanted to show the stage....but Aubrey.....yeah
Have I mentioned that I love these guys?
 Exploring Piccadily with Megan.
 Kissing her Majesty....M&M&M.  (Majest M&M)
 Making faces
I don't have an official guard photo, so....this shall do.
This was actually taken back on our North Trip.  Our stop in Kibworth with most of the group at the Coach and Horses Inn.  That was an interesting day.  Just got this emailed today.
