Feasting on Food and Theatre

We just got back from another performance and I am exhausted! These days are so filled with goodness that we are continually on the go, and it makes for a tired but very satisfied Jace. We just got back from a little production of Richard III. It was in a small theater a bit further out in London called the Cockpit Theatre. The stage was in the round and was a very cozy setting. I've never been particularly fond of the story of Richard III, but I thought that the cast did a decent job. I have been coming to respect different aspects of theater and acknowledging things that I would not typically like. It has been such a great experience to have! I just now realized that I have seen a show every night for the past few days! I love the theater seen that is available in this city.
Rewinding a bit, this morning our group went to the Museum of London. I was expecting that we would travel through the museum as a group, or that we would have some kind of special tour. However, we were left to our own devices. Our trip seems to do that a lot, and I don't really mind too much. It's interesting for sure to see the difference in structure between the two London experiences that I have had. My original was very planned and we had many day activities planned for us. It was nice because we got to see a lot of stuff that I probably wouldn't have seen. We also traveled outside of London a lot. This trip is a lot more open, and I am actually excited to have more time to explore the parts of London I may have missed before. Getting on a bit of a tangent here...the museum was very nice and we enjoyed some great exhibits on things like the Great Fire of London or the Blitz. We even had a brunch at the café.
A group of us got together afterwards and went over to Camden Market. It's a market that is only really open on weekends, and has all the things your heart could desire. There is a portion of it that is dedicate to clothing, and there are these little tent like shops that are practically stacked on top of each other. You wander down rows and rows of merchandise that any tourist would love. My favorite part of Camden Market is the portion known as Camden Lock. Just by the river is an area where food vendors set up. There are tons of different booths that have food from a number of countries. We walked through the shops and stuffed ourselves with the samples that were handed out. It's like an even more amazing version of Costco! There were foods from Spain, Brazil, Peru, and a lot of other places! We even saw a stall that was serving up octopus....yeah, we didn't try that. I purchased a shish kabob wrap that was incredibly delicious, and had a freshly made Brazilian churro that was filled with dulce de leche. I seriously just want to eat ALL the foods.
Between museums, markets, and theaters I snuck in some homework and paid a visit to Earl's Court to see a certain Police Public Call Box. Never a dull moment!

Act like you like each other
