The Story of England

   I always get very excited whenever I get an email from Professor Jacoby! I check my e-mail every day hoping to hear something new.  (I'm a weirdy).  Today's e-mail didn't include anything about our actual trip, but assignments to get ready for our prep class.  We begin this class a week from Thursday.  I am so excited to meet the people in my traveling group.  One of my biggest fears is that I will go to London, but not have anyone close to me to share it with.  So hopefully I can get to know these people and have a great time.
  We received a homework assignment to have ready before our class starts.  We need to read The Story of England by Christopher Hibbert.  I will order it from Amazon (along with some other fun books that have been sitting in my shopping cart) and get reading.  I'll be sure to report back here because I know everyone will be dying to be enlightened by what I will be learning! Wahoo!  Like I said, not super exciting, but I am stoked to do anything that has anything to do with London these days! Now if you'll excuse me I shall be watching Doctor Who.  Or going to bed...it's late.
